Our Team
At our centre, we maintain a balanced approach with our young adults by fostering a nurturing and friendly environment while upholding a clear code of conduct. We also place a strong emphasis on teaching and encouraging the art of co-existence with peers and co-workers.
Our team consists of experienced special educators and vocational trainers having expertise in our areas of work. We also have a full-time counsellor to guide us in the management of emotional and behavioural needs in our adults.
Guided and mentored daily by our founder and core team member, Ms. Sangeetha Chakrapani, we draw strength and direction from her leadership as we navigate challenges together — growing both individually and professionally along the way.
Board of Trustees
Together Foundation was established in 2015 as a registered public charitable trust. The Trustees are the anchors, pathmakers and conscience keepers of the organisation.
Sangeetha Chakrapani
Parent to two teenage daughters with autism, she develops the teaching programmes at Together Foundation. She monitors the daily operations of the Foundation. She is a Vocational Trainer and trained in Narrative Practices and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Autistic Adults.
Prof.Emeritus Dr.Y.K.Amdekar
Veteran paediatrician, he guides and mentors the organisation.
Dr.Anjali Tendulkar
Director and Co – Founder at Sachin Tendulkar Foundation.
Mentor and well-wisher.
She supports the organisation by providing much needed financial aid to adults with disabilities from low income families.
Ms. Sheela Sinha
Former Director – Education at Helen Keller Institute of Deaf & Deafblind, she guides the organisation in teaching practices, teacher training and work practices.
Ms. Jayagowri Rangarajan
Ms. Rangarajan has over 2 decades of experience in the field of special education. She retired as Principal of Little Angels Sapling school in 2017. She became involved with Together Foundation in year 2015 when we began to set up the centre. Over the years, she has been a great source of support and guidance.
Dr. Pramod Krishnan
Dr. Pramod Krishnan is a Consultant Neurologist associated with Manipal Hospital, Bangalore.
Dr. Leena Deshpande
Dr. Leena Deshpande is a Senior Developmental Pediatrician in Belapur, Navi Mumbai and has an experience of 30 years in this field.
Mr. Vijay Krishnamurthy
Former State Program Coordinator of Maharashtra in Population Foundation of India under Project “Promoting Access to Care and Treatment (PACT)” Parent Member of The Together Community.
